Paul stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: “People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. You do not know the very thing you worship—and this God you do not know is what I am going to proclaim to you now. Acts 17:22-23

ACTS 17 LEADERSHIP

I currently live in Orlando, Florida (the sixth most de-churched community in the United States) and serve as District Superintendent for the Church of the Nazarene in North and Central Florida.

Prior to this, I served as Lead Pastor of New Life Church in Medford, Oregon (one of the most unchurched communities in the United States, with only 17% of people claiming to be Christian, but with thousands of people who would call themselves “spiritual”).

Before moving to the Northwest, I served as the founding and Lead Pastor of BridgeWay Community Church, in Pekin, IL, a church my wife and I helped to start with the purpose of helping people who have given up on God and the church find their way back to God.

I am passionate about connecting with people with little or no faith background and helping them connect with God. Acts chapter 17 has always served as an example of the kind of ministry that I desire to model.

Culturally Aware

Respectful

Authentic

Gospel-Centered

I also work closely with church planters, replanters, and revitalizers to help them more faithfully live their calling in a way that is culturally relevant, personally transformative, and biblically faithful.

God is not far from any one of us.
